I can only speak for myself, but it's way too expensive for something that doesn't even have the top level OS. I see no appeal in the RT version, especially at that price.
Edit: Oh, and those commercials were awful. They did zero to tell me why I should want one, other than that they make a clicking sound. I imagine a lot of people thought, after watching them, "hey, that dancing was nifty, but did you catch what product they were trying to sell?"
