Yeah it's rude. But maybe calling them fat is the motivation they need to finally change their diet. Or they might go hang themselves because they've been called fat all their lives and your insult was the straw that finally broke the camel's back...hard to say.
But I do want to say, as mean as it is to bully fat kids and all that....we shouldn't be teaching them that it's okay to be obese and "be proud of yourself" and all that liberal bullshit. Kids who are fat need to know it's not a good thing. Isn't their health more important than their feelings?
