Poor grades in high school and you think that individual can handle a college curriculum?

i certainly did, along with dozens of other people i know. see your basing intellegence on a school grades which are based on an old and outdated system of edjucation

I suppose that's fair. Abundance of schools and majors that could suit any individual's needs. 

Now explain why a person who achieved poor grades in school deserves a scholarship.
