I'm against it too.
Just as you say: If people decide for themselves that they want to get rid of their own foreskin, there's absolutely nothing to say against.
But traumatizing your kids without medical necessity is a completely different story. This is not like cutting one's hair, a circumcision has important everlasting effects. So let you kids decide for themselves once they are old enough.
