Bullcrap. I have nothing against Nintendo, but these elitist statements by some of the Nintendo crowd really, really push me away. Liking platformers over other genres doesn't make someone superior. Liking bright solid, colors over realistic textures doesn't make someone superior. Liking gameplay driven content over story driven content doesn't make someone superior.
I'll never understand genre elitism. It makes no sense to me. I find this just as distasteful as when someone else labels a certain kind of game as being "kiddy". Both are childish as hell.
