MS is struggeling with Xbox live Gold? Thanks to games like Halo 4 their was a big jump in Gold Accounts. Honestly I think more are dropping out of PS plus. Was happy that friends got an PS plus account so they finally could try games like Red dead redemption /just cause 2 (games that I recommended a lot) and when I asked last time they like the games they just told me they not even tried most of the free games and don't see a point anymore to keep going on with it.

PS Plus 259% increase in subscribers in November 2012

Without actual numbers of subscribers though that doesn't mean much.... I'm sure playstation plus is successful, but throwing out a percentage increase doesn't actually say if the subscription is popular or not.  I really hate these empty stats companies throw out.  I wish they would just give the real stats...

That may be true, but he's just using it to respond to the bit in the post he was quoting that he bolded:

"Honestly I think more are dropping out of PS plus"

An increase in subscribers (whether small in actual number or large) of that percentage doesn't really indicate any people dropping their Plus subscription.

I agree with you that it would be so much nicer to just be given figures for everything though.  I'd really like some numbers for PSN downloads.  Alas.

well, in the regards in which he is responding it is kind of a duh that there would be an increase because it was black friday and I'm sure psn+ was probably on sale, not to mention all the ps3's on sale.  It would probably be more indicative of natural growth to get numbers of increases outside of the holiday season... maybe I'll edit my orignal post to incorporate that...
