The more 360owners demand such a system on their xbox for the money they are already paying for years the less MS can ignore it.Maybe it will need some time because the xbox fanboys will say"we don't need this, keep xbox live as it is and let us pay even more money" but most will ask for more than online gaming and cross chat. MS will still make huge profits with xbox life, but not as much as they do now. And Nintendo-well,they can't start such a service within the next two years as they haven't released enough games and can't offer constant support for Wii U+. I bought ps+ just because of online game save(1ylod,2rrods)lost some save games(was partly my fault). Now I really like it(one year music unlimited for 12bucks) and I think it is a good thing for poorer people or teenagers with limited gaming budget. Buy a ps3,pay 40-50dollar for ps+ .That's all you need to play 12 month dozens of games. |
The problem is that MS shareholders are used to a certain annual profit. How could MS persuade them to take a hit on that profit without them losing sharehoder confidence. It might be a matter of not daring to rather than not wanting to.
