They're going to have to change Gold going into next generation, especially if they want Xbox to be THE media hub in the living room. Gating video apps off behind Gold is just ludicrous. It would surprise me greatly if changes aren't made. I really, really hope PS+ continues next gen, and that it combines the Vita, the PS3, AND the PS4 in its subscription package. That would honestly be such a major incentive to buy a PS4 over the other consoles. |
I highly doubt they would stop it at this point. They're bundling it with PS3 extensively now. I'm guessing PS4 premium package has a couple months bundled. Maybe you get classics via Gaikai if you have it or something. Their bringing it to Vita pretty much confirms this.
