Retro is a fantastic studio.. i mean, most nintendo games has been fantastic but they have still been on 'inferior' hardware.

Now they have alot more freedom and i can't wait to see what they have done with it :D

Hehe I know, and it feels goood! At least until the PS720 is unveiled ^^ then we'll be stuck with games that look like they're 5 years older than they actually are =(

Thing is.. if THATS how a 'last gen' system looks when PS720 is released.. I'm gonna be quite content with my choice anyway :P just because something newer comes out, it dosn't make the fact that something looks good less true.

Art direction is king, SMG2 looks fantastic at times.. as does Halo4, they play in different leagues but they both look visually impressive.

Oh, SMG looks great, no doubt about it, and I agree that art direction is king! While having said that, I can imagine the new systems will improve on physics and AI - and that'll definitely improve the games coming out on those systems... And what I'm fearing is that Wii U will be left out in the cold by 3rd party support because of the inferior specs, leading to lower sales...
