Otherwise the article is decent. There are a lot of assumptions, in terms of specs which have not been confirmed so it's a little hard to speculate but otherwise the point is fairly straightforward and valid.
My only gripe is this part:

1. There is no chance in hell BF3 does 54 fps on maxed out at 1080p with a 7870m. They must have confused it with 7870 desktop edition.
2. Sarcraft II and Skyrim are a CPU bottlenecked game. The frame rate for those games is lower on AMD CPU's than Intels regardless of GPU.
