It would be far better for China to produce their own consoles.
China not liking Japan don't mean they going to fall in the arms of their ideological enemy the US.
The media plays up this "Japan China war" far more than the reality, linking this to the slow down in exports between the two countries which many believe is wrong.
I really don't see China taking to a MS console anymore than the Japanese did. Like the Japanese they seem to have a love affair with Apple but not so sure about MS hardware.
As for talk about Chinese spending power, China will soon be Apples no 1 market. You don't get there unless you have serious purchasing power. If they can buy Apple products they sure as hell can buy a whole lot of consoles.
