There's already been a thread on this. Basically, game reviewers don't know how to review most Wii games. I mean, Wii Sports, for example, is a horribly addictive party game, and the Wii's top system seller... that averaged in the mid-70s as far as review scores go.
"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
