I'm not going to argue with you, I don't do the circular forum arguments, but I doubt vita is profitable.

that is the thing though, there's conjecture and reading too much into it or by the words of the people in charge

Speaking to GameTrailers in a recent interview, Senior VP of SCEA Scott Rohde said that they’ll do “well” with PS Vita.

“I think that we’re going to do very well with this,” he said. “And this price point – it’s also not going to lose money for us on day one. We’re going to do well with this thing.”

he stated this on live interview! notice i stated SCEA is profit day one, where in the link you posted:

Sony Europe boss Andrew House told GamesIndustry.biz that he expected the PS Vita "business" to be profitable from the get-go. "I think as a business it will definitely be profitable from day one."

Now Kaz stated :

The company aims to make a profit on hardware sales of the new PlayStation Vita handheld in less than three years, Hirai added.

notice the other two was talking about their regions! the strong Yen already has Taken a hit on profit's.
