just because it's not popular, im going to back you up on this, If Sony remains @ the bottom so be it. it's better not loosing their company over some fanboy wish's.

Its better to be a very small Niche in the market with smaller market share than going out of  the market completely.

This way they can rebuild 1st party studio's, not rely on 3rd party as much and grow their playstation BUSINESS again. where it's at Profit. making 1st party their priority. if that means lower Market share say 10%, who care's as long as they reamin @ profit right?

but..but 3rd party, Like 3rd party have been backing the PSVita?

the more they wait on the market to put out the replacement for the PS3 and keep concentrating on the PSVita and PS3, lower and shrink the COMPANY AS A WHOLE the better they will be in the long run.

Hey it works for Nintendo, I think Sony would rather be @ profit and stable consumer base of 50+ million a generation than end up loosing billions on trying to compete with a company that can out spend them 10 to 1! to get exclusive DLC or Exclusive's 3rd party.
