i know this might seem like a crazy idea but could sony not release the ps4 until 2016 and be alright? Some people may say its reaching market saturation but i think it has alot of room for improvement in NA as Wii/360 are at roughly 40 million while PS3 isnt even at 25 million plus once it gets a cut to $200 it could see sales increase and another drop to $150 in 2015 could keep it a low cost alternative to wii u and nextbox. Another reason is that its close to the power as wii u and could get multiplat titles with it while the nextbox has to settle for 3rd party games that dont take advantage of the hardware except for exclusives. this would also allow sony to get a heads up on the comp for the following gen by releasing in 2016 while wii u and nextbox successors likely wont release until 2018 at the earliest. i doubt this scenario will happen but i think it would be interesting.
