Does a games box art really help its sales?

But no, I don't think Box art sells a game. If the Box art is good it might catch a person's eye, but I doubt the person would decide to buy the game just because of that.

Well I myself have bought a game just because of the boxart a couple times. Usually because of the artstyle.

I only doubted that people would do this. You're an exception, a very special exception... that screwed up my view on this. ;-P
