Weaker yen means better conversion rate of dollar to Yen. Sony is a huge exporter in Japan, and gets most of its business in the US and Europe.

Sony stock was hugely undervalued at 11 and 12, but was overshadowed by lame performance. Now traders are warming to the idea of asset value, maybe at high teens. It is expected to get 200m to 300m profits, and the higher the dollar to yet (right now at 91 something) the better. I think E/P will go to 3. but what i know...
