They do to me. Hell, if I'm paying $60+ then it better be polished. I feel this late in the gen, and next-gen has to bring it.
However, I do have different expectations for certain companies. SE & 343, I'm looking at you.
I can still appreciate a game if it compensates for excellent gameplay.
Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"
