YEs they all give me that same vision in my head on how I would percieve evert other anime.  They eyes, the hair, and the artstyle's of each are very similar.  the scond pic looks a little different but not that much as it still has the colorful hair and blue hair as well.

I think the problem is that Japanese stuff just doesn't appeal to you in general. You're over-generalizing an entire genre of media, while I'm sure you could point out the stylistic differences between western-type games such as Halo and Gears of War. A Japanese person might look at those games and any other western game like it and say the exact same thing as you. Its not really a problem with Western games though, its because the person has little interest in that style anyway so they just gloss over the differences. It's not necessarily a bad thing to do that, it's just a matter of what appeals to you. It doesn't mean that everything is the same though, because many people can pick out the differences between both Western and Eastern styles.

I have mentioned that Im not a fan of the style so this is not news to me.  What I want to know is why you guys think that JRPG games are on a decline because this is one reason i think it is.  If not then tell me why because I know little about this stuff.

I think the reason that there is a decline or the perception anyway  is .

1 -  apart from the big hitters like Final fantasy dragon quest pokemon most jrpg's don't sell as much as people think , historically selling 500k upwards means it's a hit and sales wise above average for the genre .

2 - people who play and love them tend to be very vocal and it adds to the perception that if you make a good jrpg it will be successful because there are millions of lovers just waiting for good jrpg's .

3- jrpg's are there they have just migrated away from consoles part of this is due to the Japanese market and the rise of handhelds , part is to do with the costs of making them on console today taking into account historical sale figures ,  another reason is when people talk about the scarcity of jrpg's on console they really mean more big name titles.
