Agree with the bold (particularly 2007 and '08). By 2009, games of the gen had come into their own, and the Gears cloning had slowed to a minimum. Uncharted has had a recent surge of similarly designed cinematics and character interactions, but I feel this has had minimal impact as well.

To carry the influence torch, in my eyes, you have to have made an impact like no other games before and continue to do so. Call of Duty and Wii Sports are about as impactful as we've seen all generation.

The game ripped Uncharted just like the last Star Wars game ripped off God of War. I mean the animations are so similar.

Wow, hadn't seen this before. The similarities are striking, even down to the way the Stars Wars character runs and jumps.

As a Star Wars fan and an Uncharted fan, I can only smile XD
