Just another example of Gears bundling. We have no clue how much it's helped sales, but then, we don't for Uncharted either. This is why bundling shouldn't be used as a source for ammo in either direction. Gears has had success mainly on its own, but with bundles as well, just like Uncharted who has been bundled a bit more, but finds much of the success on its own.

Not using it as ammo. You are reading way too much into this. Im saying how many games can achieve 6m without bundles. And that bundle sold very few copies as Gears of War had already sold well over 5m by the time that bundle came out. Not sure how much gears 2 had sold by the time, but gears had sold 5m before gears 2 came out.

I think you're using the idea of bundling as a negative towards Gears. Most bundles are treated as preceived value. If people buy a system because they want the game it comes with, the package has done its job. Very different from a pack-in title, which outside of Forza 2 and Wii Sports, there haven't been many of this gen.

Forza and Wii sports? throw in Uncharted, Gran Turismo,, Little Big Planet, and mario Kart which has all been massively bundled.

I don't think you understand what a pack-in title is. Forza 2 and Wii Sports, at a time, were sold with every version of the console you can buy. The other titles have not been in that situation. Also, you should look up the word "childish" again, as nothing I've said has been that. Frankly, this makes number two that you've had to say something of this nature, proving that you are having a hard time simply disagreeing. Don't debate if that's what it comes down to.
