Gears had an impact on one genre which, again, I never argued against. However, Call of Duty and Wii Sports had an influence on a scale that it could only hope for. Hell, Wii Sports not only was responsible for clone titles like Sports Champions and Kinect Sports, but Microsoft and Sony created devices that aimed specifically for that market (and are considered rip-offs by plenty).
Call of Duty is a billion-dollar franchise within the first week of sale (this without even going in to the recipe that devs have tried to mirror recently). Many people are chasing that and changing their titles to mimic the success. Gears has, especially of late, been fairly low on the influences, but I would agree that the original Gears and, to a lesser extent, Gears 2 had their fair share of stark contributions. They just just did not do what Call of Duty and Wii Sports have.

I don't understand what this is trying to say - outside of "you didn't read what I argued". Oh well, my advise - don't open an argument if you're unable to finish it and don't claim others "don't know what they're talking" just because the subject matter isn't what you favor.

I have been proving what Ive said. You are downplaying literally everything Ive said and refuse tyo admit that Gears in fact has changed gaming as it is a huge influence on other games.
