Nintendo cover the main markets in Europe. The markets in Europe that sell the most units. If the 360 is over or undertracked in Europe, they will show it.

There is nothing wrong with waiting for more complete data.

Yes you've said, nobody is disagreeing with you.

I repeat, how does this help us establish accurate sales outside of Europe, US and Japan?

Ninty will tell us Europe, we know US and we know Japan.  Away from these markets is where the discrepancy will most likely be.

I said earlier in the thread. Say the 360 is 600k undertracked.

We lump it all into the emerging markets. Cool. 360 is accurate. Short while later, Nintendo show that its undertracked in Europe by 300k. Then what?

Wait for Nintendo. See how the numbers are in the tracked markets... THEN we can more accurately say where the 360's are

Agreed, I see no problem with waiting for Nintendo data before adjustments start.  It also stops the complaints we had last year when we had small adjustments post Microsoft financials which we all knew would be adjusted again later when the Nintendo data arrived.  That being said I don't mind us making adjustments now if ioi is sure about what needs changing.
