I mean, in my opinion, there should be a separate version of Miiverse for only children, just like Netflix has their main catalogue and a separate 'Netflix for Kids'.   That way there aren't any situations where a child unknowingly is talking to an adult and the conversation turns into something inappropriate.   I truly understand why Nintendo is so harsh with their modding, since it's a Nintendo system with little children as well as adults playing their games, not to mention no other console has a dedicated social network, it is a unique, unprecedented situation.

Maybe going forward they may decide to incorporate something like that. This is afterall their first real attempt at a dedicated online community on a gaming console, so understandably it takes time.

It sounds like a good idea  on paper but it depends on how they would  go about it , it just might make it easier for people looking to exploit children if theres a dedicated site , also how do they ensure who is a child and who's pretending.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot
