Wow. Very disappointing. I thought the only thing keeping Darksiders 2 from solid 9-9.5 scores were better performance issues (framerate, loading) and just more stuff to do in the open world. The visuals were great, the soundtrack was fantastic (Jesper Kyd never disappoints), and the gameplay was a mix of some very solid games. MMO style looting wasn't very deep but it worked very well.
Story was very good, although it got a bit dry after the land of the dead when you went to the Heavens and Earth areas. Really was looking forward for a Darksiders 3, but I guess it was not meant to be

BasilZero Ninja Theory has a chance at making a DS3 a great game. it's undoubted Heavenly sword is their best effort.
