From the story, it sounds like you deserved it.
Understand that Nintendo is a family brand and as such there are several minors reading through Miiverse. It NEEDS strong moderation or Nintendo will come under attack from consumer protection services and Parent associations.
You really are going to have to act a bit more maturely when you're there. I know its cool to make the jokes and sarcasm, but you need to have a pulse on what stage you're preaching on.
