^Scisca, I'm not gonna answer your post in entirety, too much trouble and waste of time, nobody gonna read anyway. Next time keep it short, get to the point, walls of texts kill the discussion. Instead I'll elobrate what you seem didn't get.
a) Nazis almost universally have been acknowledged responsible for war crimes during WW2, and rightfully so, but blaming one side is rarely how things did happen and ultimately lays the foundation for future conflicts. To the best of my recollection, only French republic and Soviet Union en masse prosecuted their war criminals after the war, which is understandable given how many collaborationists they had on occupied territory. May I ask what happened to Polish collaborationists and war criminals? Nothing? Typical.
Maybe flawed exmaple, but Yugoslavia case in recent time pretty good illustrates the point. I did spend quite some time explaining bias of ICTY towards Serbian side of conflict specifically, which should be obvious to everyone by now. How do you think would that help the situation if Serbs are the only one to blame? It begs for revanchism.
b) Speaking about revanchism. Polish dictator, Pilsudsku, publically claimed to restore Poland in borders of 1772, and he did follow his claim. Polish-Czechoslovakia conflict over Teschen Silesia (1918-20), which eventually was occupied thanks to Munich agreement in 1938, and Polish-Soviet War (1919-21) are good examples of said ambitions. Nor Silesia, nor Kiev, where Polish army ended by 1920, had nothing to do with Polish territory by the time it obtained independece from Russian Empire. Territorial expansion it is, on both fronts, East and West, which eventually failed and lead to Poland non-existence. BTW during both conflicts Polish army practiced forceful expatriation of local population, for the most part Jewish, so anti-Jewish sentiments that flourished during Nazi occupation of Poland isn't smth new.
So we're back to my initial point. Poland isn't innocent lamb, but a valid contender on the European political field at the time, that followed it's revanchism sentiments, making enemies on both sides of it's borders, failed due to lack of raw power, suffered from it and eventually retired as any sort of moderatly significant power for the rest of eternity.
Overall I like your reaction :D so I'd probably continue with my attitude of challenging Polish (or whoever) monopoly to whine and victimize themselves if it results in such and overly emotional rant and more importantly -- denial.
