Crytek was already developing Homefront 2 for them, so buying the IP wouldn't be too surprising, and Sega buying Relic isn't surprising because, as zarx said, they seem to be getting good results with their PC games.

Evolve is a studio or an IP? I've read that Koch Media wants Volition.

They also say that Ubisoft goes for Obsidian (South Park).

how can ubisoft go for obsidian when obsidian isn't owned by THQ and not for sale?

I also found it odd, and now that I look it, it seems like someone did a mistake with a translation.

In Eurogamer.es they say "Koch Media habría apostado por hacerse con Volition, la desarrolladora de Saints Row, y Ubisoft iría a por Obsidian, responsable del RPG de South Park." which means "Koch Media would have bet to get Volition, the developer of Saints Row, and Ubisoft would go for Obsidian, responsible of the South Park RPG.

In Eurogamer.net they said it properly: "And the high bidder for Obsidian's South Park RPG is said to be David Dickinson, er, I mean Ubisoft."

My bad for not checking it earlier.

Please excuse my bad English.
