I think a lot of people have forgotten how amazingly God of War III sold under such bad circumstances. With the PS3 shortage, post-holidays release, no mass bundling, no multiplayer to help legs and non-existent advertisment outside of the US and the game still sold over 5 million in 2 years.

God of War III = SCEA: 2,818,033 SCEJ: 417,866 SCEE: 1,961,733  WW: 5,197,632

Now imagine how much it's sold since then with the God of War: Saga selling like hot-cakes, the Latin America exclusive (GoW's most popular region) God of War: Omega Collection which sold a ton if there's already been this many sold: 

And there's the new budget essentials edition of the game. I bet it's outsold Uncharted 2 even with all the bundling, advertisement and holiday release that game had. I don't understand all the crazy low estimations from Vgchartz users, God of War: Ascension will be the bestselling console exclusive of 2013.

Agreed. People on VGChartz and IGN (as far as I know) heavily underestimate God of War's sales. I just can't stand it. Meanwhile, they treat Uncharted like the God of PlayStation when in fact that place belong to Gran Turismo and God of War ONLY. Uncharted is bs and overhyped if you ask me.
