Well to be completely fair, it shows how much sillier the doomcalling is, knowing full well that a new 3D Mario, Mario Kart and a new 3D Zelda will be released mid-cycle. Games that sell more than the PS3's top 10 (ignoring the 3rd party CoD).

To be fair though I think we have seen the same song and dance before.  Nintendo having all these titles coming mid stream is a nothing more than despriation moves and despriate nintendo can be iffy with their game quality.  Its good for gamers but well have to wait and see.  Iwata mentioned that the next zelda is still big budget (i.e. not learning anything from SS) and Nintendo games outselling the PS3 top ten doesnt matter, we had two generations where the same thing occured and the playstation still came out on top, by a fairly huge margin.
