It was also rumored that the new C7 Corvette would use a V8 with 450hp/450 lbs of torque and when it was unveiled, it was exactly that. I don't think anyone is claiming that any of these specs are factual. But as people learn information and more of these rumors start to surface and align with each other, we get more comfortable with a general idea of where the specs are. Of course we won't know with 100% certainty what the specs are until MS/Sony disclose them. Even now with Wii U out, we still don't have a clear idea of its CPU/GPU's specs for it.
