It can actually be used on a lap w/ the keyboard or as a tablet and has a bigger HDD, DVD/BR drive, and likely better battery life. Its a better product. |
Why do you need a bigger HDD? Aren't you the numbe 1 fan of the chromebook? With an internet connection there are no limits to what you can do with a Surface pro.
Also DVD/BR drive is not found on any of the lenovo twist products designed for Windows 8 and thank god for that. Who needs a DVD drive in 2013? Only laptop that lenovo has which has a dvd drive is is the 230t, which is a Windows 7 product...
Using the keyboard in your lap is a valid point, if you really need to do that often. I have no had to do it even once...ever. There is always a table around when I have to use my laptop.
And better battery life is something you get when you weigh 2X as much...its a trade off obviously.
