--The games I bought frome STEAM for my Windows XP computer works for my new Windows 8 PC computer and new PC laptop.
--I'm very confident the games I bought from XBOX LIVE for my XBOX 360 will work for my XBOX 3.
--The stuff I bought from Nintendo's online store for my Wii will work on a Wii U.
Why is Sony supposed to get a free pass to diverge from this apparent INDUSTRY STANDARD?
Why does this change for Sony?
