Actually, I thought Dragon Age 2 looked rather decent when it was released. Well on my PC anyway with Tessellation, Copious Anti-Aliasing, Anisotropic Filtering, Depth of Field, SSAO, HD texture pack and stuff all in 5760x1080 Eyefinity at the time.
Certainly makes Origins look horrible and looks better than that low-res 720P screen shot by far.
And ran like a dream on my old Dual Radeon 6950's, so it wasn't that demanding.

With that said, I didn't fall in love with Dragon Age for the sheer graphics, but the story, game play and the characters.
Heres hoping Bioware fixes the crap with Dragon Age 2 and returns to form.
Some mod tools wouldn't go astray either, makes Dragon Age: Origins 100x better and I wouldn't mind a re-focus on the PC instead of dumbing it down for console gamers AND a Steam release please, you can shove that origin where the *beep beep beep beep beep* doesn't shine.
