WTF are talking about?? it was the NY headquarter. Sony has a bunch of those all over the world. The fact that the sale was 4 times bigger than the initial purchase says that they were not in a hurry to sell the building.
Trust me Sony is not going any where. They will make a profit this quater and a big one.
