As for my losses, our then 16 year old cat that was inherited from my dad's grandpa was put to sleep when I was about 8-9 years old. Thankfully, we got ourselves a new cat shortly after that we called "Maja", so the sorrow didn't last too long. And then it didn't take more than two years for her to have her own kittens, "Kurre" and, "Murre" :3 Luckily there was only two of them so we didn't have to give away or sell any. I know I've been using this image a few times now, but it's the only one that I have on my phone:
