Japan going 'back to roots,' avoiding 'westernization' of games

This entire conversation is so weird to me. Borderline racist, too. People who live in Japan have many different tastes and passions. Same as people in the Western hemisphere, which is pretty damn big. Sure, some games sell better in location X and some games sell better in location Y, but it's weird that we divine from that information such crazy stereotypes.
