- Mass murder of Soviet POWs in death camps in 1920s; Why exactly Soviets would need to create this story if Katyn wasn't never recognized until 1992? None of the documents even surfaced until 2004. Is G.Sanford a communist too? He recognized tha fact. Should I go in denial over Katyn, because there's surely a lot of missing parts including "lost" documents? People died of mistreatment, that was your responsibility. Take it for once. - Polish occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1938; Sure I imagining this, Polish tanks in Teschen Silesia, an industrial region that was a reson behind the conflict of Poland and Czechoslovakia in 1918-20. You did it with Nazis, as they were your allies at the time. Only Nazis are blamed fot this.
- Mass murder of Jews during WW2 (Nazis were scapegoats for this, which is not entirely true). Armia Krajowa and various other collaborationists organizations in Poland have cooperated with Nazis in muss murders of Jews, one of the most unprecedent help Nazis received btw. Hundreds of thousands ethnic Polish served in Wermacht and SS. Again only Nazis were blamed for this. BTW you're reported for insult. |
@Mnementh
^See? Typical human reaction: " Everyone else is bad, we're good. There's always somebody else to blame" :D
Getting back to Chinese, so this discussion would be somewhat on topic. I've talked to Chinese, I lived in China (both ROC and PRC), they're indeed bonkers over Japanese wrongdoings on their land. I always found it strange in a way. Say, what side except for Chinese that suffered the most mistreatment in WW2? That's Soviet civilian population obviously, Russian, Jewish, everyone. If you're bored with historical documents, you may read Slaughterhouse-Five to check the difference between POW camps for Soviets and for everyone else. But _never_ I saw Russians were so obessed with the past, blaming Germans for whatever, there's even certain level Germanophilia is going on (both on public and political levels). Probably that's because unlike Chinese (only techically a winning side) Soviet Union actually won that war. So this's more about national humiliation than anything.
