From the diagram....
HDMI 1.4a = 3D capable
8 Core X64 at 1.6 GHz = Average processor, but high multi-tasking capabilities
GPU = Highly capable for gaming
50 Gb, 6x Blu-Ray drive = Mandatory installs are now a norm and games will probably get longer again
8 GB of RAM = Nice amount of space for games to work within
WiFi N support = Fast wireless speeds (Hope it is dual band like Surface)
Gigabit Wired = Nice wired speeds
USB 3.0 = Let's hope MS now supports any HD size for 720
HDMI 1.4a input = Interesting... Is this for loopback?
Essentially the whole thing looks like a computer optimized for gaming and multimedia whereas the current 360 was a computer optimized for gaming. Microsoft proved this gen that the architecture of the whole console was important (not just the processor). Although MS' 360 processor paled in comparison the 360 and PS3 ended up being fairly similar in capabilities. Let's hope MS does the same this gen.
