I am a huge PS3 fan. You could even label me a PS3 fanboy if you like....that's been fair at times. But if Sony cannot figure out how to make the stuff we bought out from their store work for the PS4, then I will never buy anything from their online store again. I don't really care how they get it done....whether through GAIKAI, straight emulation....I've even heard rumors of some dongle'ish attachment thing, and that might be acceptable....maybe. If Sony can't figure it out, then they've misappropriated consumer trust in their online shit, AGAIN. And if that's the case, considering how important online has become, and is further becoming in the future, I might as well not even bother with a PS4, because it would be more of Sony Online Incompetence. Sony better figure it out.....Move Heaven and Earth if need be.....they had better. PS....A credit refund would also be acceptable.
Do you feel the same? Explain.

Why? When you buy a PS4 your PS3 will break? Play the games on the PS3 and the brand new next gen games on the PS4. I have a Vita and still have a PSP, that is it.
I say: no backward compatibility and MORE POWER, MUCH MORE POWER.

Why?
Well, maybe peoples PS3's break. Maybe people want to sell, trade, or give away their PS3 hardware. Various possible events.
Again, I don't want to, nor do I need to hold onto my 2009 Iphone to play ANGRY BIRDS. Why should that dynamic change for PS4?
Also, why or how does backwards compatibility detract from PS4's "power"? Your correlation didn't really make alot of sense there.
