For those TLDR: Specs are pretty good in comparison to PS4. Its weaker though due to amount of RAM and stuff they set aside for Kinect 2. Also from what I understand Kinect may end up being the UI. You may be forced to use it.(takes up processing power)
Next-gen will come down to whether or not you prefer multimedia features. Both will have them obviously, but Xbox will have a bigger focus on them.
