I can definitely see where you're coming from. If you were a Wii-only owner and you don't mind paying full price for games that were up to a year old, then you could definitely get a lot of enjoyment from the Wii-U's launch line-up. Unfortunately, that class of people is probably just ridiculously small, so unless you fall within it, the line-up just wasn't that impressive.
At least Nintendo nailed down three decent games to entice people in ZombiU, NSMBU & NintendoLand. Having an only-slightly-late port of Black Ops 2 was nice as well.
