Where have you heard it suggested that you won't be able to play PSN games on PS4, though?

I share the same concern about PS4 since they are dropping the CELL processor architecture in favor of something comparatively more off the shelf (AMD something) than an evolution of the CELL processor architecture.

That said, I see no reason why I wouldn't hold on to my very competant and relevant PS3 for another few years past the PS4 release. If they do manage to be fully BC with all PS3 content, then I would definitely replace PS3 hardware.

I love the PS3 and all the content I already have on it and its controllers and headsets... those PS3 headsets are the best in class.
