agree with everything except the later part.  They should have this at launch.  Also hopefully PS4 has a usb on the back so I don't have to look at some big expansion port in my entertainment center.

with "later" i mean you don't have to buy it with the new console, you can get it whenever you want.

oh ok I agree wholeheartedly then.  The preferable method however would be including BC in one SKU for $50 more than the other one for convenience sake.  I'm thinking $400 basic with $450 BC model (possibly bigger HDD as well).
