I agree with life on other planets. Personally I like to joke that god got sick of us and "cheated" on us by creating another planet. Hence why we don't really hear from him anymore like he did back in the religious texts of various religions.
It'd be funny to find a string of planets with younger and younger intellegent life until we hit a planet with god on it, just like ours.
Really one of the best ways aliens could totally control our planet would be to observe earth... make contact... and them claim to be christians or some other popular religion. Talk about how god created them and talked of stuff etc.
