Indeed, but I think its because London doesn't seem to have any plausible solution to anything more than an inch of snow other than severe delays on public transportation. It's pitiful taking into account the obscenely large amount of money you have to pay for tickets even when having a student Oyster. And that's just one of the problems -_-

But how hard is it really to just grit the roads and main paths around the city, they knew the snow was coming and yet once again, nothing was done to keep things moving. As, for the increasingly expensive public transport, thats going straight to one place only, to make the government and there business buddies richer and richer. If the money had been used to improve infrastructure, then there would be less problems now.
