What is the definition of hardcore games?!

"Bridge" Games' actually a pretty good description and name for those kind of games that's a little bit more difficult/immersive that lure "casuals" in to playing them ^^

when i've seen the most spirited debates on "hardcore" games it generally boils down to "bridge game on my system are hardcore but bridge games on your system are casual".  

oh, and i don't know who coined bridge games but that wasn't me.  we used to use that a lot more on these forums back in '07, '08.  not sure why it fell out of use.
