I want to kick this guy who is supposed to be a printer. He is wasting my time not answering questions directly when we're emailing back and forth, making me have to go to his studio (that he only goes to once a week and will meet???) just to look at a simple frame he could easily photograph and send if he wants the business... I've already emailed three other shops, so hopefully I will have someone who is actually willing to get me just a print. Can't go to any of them until Monday. I'm frustrated, because I'm trying to make it simple for the client and this guy is being a butt-head... so I dropped him and told the client I will find someone else to get the print.... you can lose work over stunts like that, that's why I'm a little pissed off... thankfully the clients know my work is good, have already seen it and are saying they will jump through hoops to work around any problems... but they shouldn't have to feel like that in the first place, I'm still working towards the original deadline...
I don't know any shops near here yet, nor have built any relationships with printers because I'm new to the area. God, it's frustrating not having any connections here, you don't have anywhere to go for word of mouth....
