As I made clear I simply don't want less first party content on PS4 because of Vita. Also Vita doesn't tarnish the PS3 sales one bit. It's pretty obvious that home and handheld gaming are different beasts entirely considering Nintendo was dominant in handhelds while getting destroyed at home for 2 gens and Sony dominated home while getting destroyed in handhelds in the first year of PSP. |
Yeah, I can see your point, I was just having a little fun. I think part of the problem is that it's difficult to think in ten year terms and so the urgency of getting those games is disproportionate. The clique, 'It's a marathon and not a sprint', hasn't really embedded itself in the minds of gamers and they can't see beyond 5/6 years and for some reason worry too much. Sony will support both consoles (well three for at least this year and next if the PS4 does release later this year or early next year IMHO) There IS an argument to be had that the Vita could actually provide MORE PS3 games. Take Sound Shapes for instance. That game was going to be Vita only but we also got it on the PS3. I would wait at least until the Vita is 4 years on the market before even considering if it is indeed stealing resources from it's bigger, less portable brothers.
'As Sony fan I wish they never had made PSABR. The Vita is great device but it is too expemsive.'
Why?
