It's fine with me. Just means we can laugh all the harder if/when post count goes away. And it makes it really easy to tell who the spammers are and subsequently ignore them.

 post count does not show if u r a spammer! Benkenobi has the 3rd highest post count but would u consider him a spammer? Anyways, did ioi say that post count was going away? Cause if that happens, nooooo!!!!
